Question:
Norm, I knew immediately when I saw it why it is called a turkey table, or as it should accurately be called a "Turkish" style table. I have studied pattens of arab and eastern mosaics. When I was looking at more regional patterns I encountered tables that have the same three intersecting circles. I have seen them in interiors of Egyptian, Moroccan and Turkish decors. Some American long ago must have seen this and called it a "Turkey" table, implying is resembled patterns seen there. I have long admired and appreciated your work. It is an honor to be able to give something in return, even if it is small.SincerelyKevin StarbuckTucson, Arizona 520/301-8436
